THE LAZY CAT

The lazy cat is a very friendly British pub in Ebisu. It has wooden beams and tables to give it a very authentic and cozy atmosphere. The owner has his own web site which has much more info about this pub and pub scene, so check it out at lifeintokyo.com

The last Saturday of every month (sorry to force you to think, I know that's not why you're here) there is a pub quiz at The Lazy Cat. It's a lot of fun. It basically involves joining (or bringing) a team and answering questions to win cheap prizes while drinking lots of beer. Anyone is welcome to join, and I guarantee you'll have a good time. It starts at 8 p.m., but you should show up a bit before that if you are interested in playing.

It is run by a very friendly dude called Lee. This pub doesn't serve any food, but they are totally cool about people bringing in food from outside. Hell, they'll even let you order a pizza and have it delivered to the pub. The Lazy Cat is certainly one of the most hassle free pubs you will find.

Lee has a big thing which he is very proud of, and he will be happy to show you if you ask. (Oh come on! I was talking about his yard glass for god's sake!)
