Clubhouse is sports bar near the intersection
of Meiji Dori and Shinjuku Dori. I went to this place several times before I
ever went early enough to sit down and eat there. When I finally tried their
food, I was most impressed. This is the reason that, if you notice, I have this
place listed both as a restaurant and a bar.
It is extremely unusual for a place like this to have such stellar food. I mean, this place rules! I tried to memorize a few of the dishes so I could post them here, but hey, the beer there is good too so my short term memory was "chemically Inconvenienced" My recommendations are the Thai curry, the Greek salad, the Pita bread and the Eringi mushrooms. I took a snapshot of part of the menu so you could have a look.

Pretty impressive menu, eh? Jerry, the main cook dude, is always hard at work
making sure every detail is just right to keep the food rocking and making sure
that new menu items are being added all the time.
Clubhouse is, obviously, first and foremost a sports bar. They
have wide screen TVs all over the walls and are always playing sporting events
of some type. I would suggest avoiding the place when there is a major football
or rugby match happening, as it gets really packed with huge guys without necks
singing European or Aussie fight songs and screaming at each other. Any other
time, however, this place is a perfect choice for a great meal and a few beers.

The people who work at Clubhouse are really friendly and they
all speak English quite well. It is a nice place to hang out.
This is one of the much more relaxed evenings at Clubhouse, before it gets too mad. Go early, I would suggest before 9:00 or so and sit down and enjoy yourself like these satisfied customers.
